Adult Day Care provides an organized program of services during the day, in a community group setting, for the purpose of supporting personal independence and promoting social, physical, and emotional well-being of adults.

Adult Day Health provides the same organized program as outlined above but requires the services of a nurse for monitoring a medical condition. Adult Day Health participants usually require more assistance with activities of daily living than Adult Day Care participants.

Both Adult Day Care and Adult Day Health participants may require administration of medications, special feedings, or provision of other treatments as ordered by a physician. Each Adult Day Health participant has a plan of health designed and monitored by our registered nurse.

All participants have individual service plans that outline their individual needs and interests. Program goals are designed to meet these individual needs.
